QuakeMLab
QuakeMLab is an academic research platform that analyses continuous seismic waveforms with deep learning to automatically determine P and S phases, associate them, and produce earthquake locations. The automatic solutions are systematically compared with independent earthquake catalogues for validation.
QuakeMLab Live Automatic Earthquake Solutions — Last 24 Hours
The map below shows earthquake epicenters determined by QuakeMLab as a result of deep-learning-based P/S phase picking, phase association, and automatic location applied to continuous seismic data. Hover over a marker (or tap it on a touch device) to view the event summary, then open the detailed solution page from there.
Validation Against Independent Catalogues
QuakeMLab automatic solutions are matched with independent catalogues by origin time (±90 s) and epicentral distance (≤150 km). All sources (EMSC, NOA, AUTH, AFAD, KOERI) are scanned and the one with the smallest epicentral difference is taken as the reference; its name is shown in the rightmost column next to that difference in km.
